Hilary Duff ‘pretty bummed’ about cigarette photo

Hilary Duff, an American actress and a star of a Disney Channel, gave birth to her first kid in March. Duff named him Luca. And recently curios paparazzi released a photo, demonstrating Hilary holding a burning cigarette. The celebrity said that she is bothered with this situation because she was not smoking, but holding a cigarette for a friend.

The Hilary’ picture with a cigarette was made on Friday when a star went out of Rock & Reilly’s Irish Pub in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Later the photo with smoking celebrity was published on websites of outlets such as the UK newspaper The Daily Mail. At that moment when Duff was photographed her son, Luca, was not with her.

On Monday Duff wrote on her Twitter page that the idea to hold a cigarette for her friend was no so good. She added that this situation bored her and accepted that it looks worst than it is.

The reaction of people to such photo was different.  MTV published an article, which was titled “Please Don’t Smoke, Hilary Duff!”. It was stated in this article: “PLEASE STOP HILARY!! We love you and all, but you just created your amazing, perfect, and adorable family. There’s indeed no necessity to add cigarettes into the equation.”

The actress at the age of 24 found out in April that she was breastfeeding her son, Luca. But the question whether she is a smoker remains unclear. But in accordance with the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, even if she smokes, her breast milk remains safe for her child,.

The government-mandated group affirms those mothers who continue smoking in the course of breastfeeding are encouraged to stop this habit. The group said that breast milk appears to be the best food for a baby in any way even if the mother smokes. In spite of the fact that nicotine may be in breast milk, side effects on the kid during breastfeeding have not been reported, the group added.

Hillary Duff is also experiencing a legal problem. A woman from Los Angeles filed a lawsuit against a celebrity on Monday, stating that in December 2010, the actress ran with Range Rover into her vehicle and caused her injuries, E! News stated. Duff has not responded.

Duff became famous as a teenage star of the series “Lizzie Maguire” that were broadcasted on Disney Channel. Duff also had a periodic role in the CW series “Gossip Girl” and guest parts on NBC’s shows “Community” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The star is also a best-selling author. Last October she released her second novel, “Devoted.”
