The Destiny’s Child star has been filming the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition in Miami, where she was aided by former American Idol contestant and Oscar-winning star Jennifer Hudson.

Determined to see one of her singers triumph, Kelly Rowland told The Sun that she is going to be tough with the group.

“There will be absolutely no alcohol, no smoking, no talking loud in clubs. I want them to take care of their bodies,” she said. “I will be like, ‘Don’t let anything knock you off your focus, or you will lose everything’.”

Speaking further to The Mirror, she admitted: “I didn’t go out until I was at least 22 and I didn’t party until two years ago. I’ve always been strict. I don’t drink a lot, I don’t smoke, I want to succeed.”

The singers have also been advised to avoid relationships while focusing on the competition. Rowland added: “Don’t let anybody affect your focus – anything, anyone – or you will lose everything.”

The 30-year-old said that she had been in constant contact with her final eight, and had them working with her own personal vocal coach, iPhone app Voice Tutor designer Rob Stevens.

“I definitely have a schedule planned. I know what I’m doing,” she said. “I have my vocal coach in there working with them now.”

Insisting that she will tell any divas within her group to “leave”, Rowland warned: “I am a softie but I’m tough too.”
