The Seoul-headquartered outfit said that the new product delivers “a distinctively full-bodied taste through a unique toasting process’” based on the highest grade of burley.
It will be offered with 6mg tar at the consumer price of 2,500 won a pack. Lucky Strike debuted in the early 1870s and is one of the flagship brands of BAT.
BAT Korea Executive Marketing Director Kashif Khwaja said in a statement that the new product with a stylish retro bull’s eye pack design will present smokers with a refreshing new option.
“I am very pleased to finally present Lucky Strike Original Red 6mg to Korean consumers. Test market results prior to the official launch demonstrated exceptional popularity among Korean consumers,” Khwaja said.
“Lucky Strike Original Red 6mg is for charismatic and dynamic adult consumers who seek a distinctively unique smoking experience.”
