Philip Morris International is Called Europe’s Top Employer

Philip MorrisPhilip Morris International, tobacco company that produces Marlboro Red cigarettes, on February 10 was named top employer in Europe. The company is best employer three years in line due to implementation of highest standards of excellence in its working environment. Besides this, PMI’s affiliates were called leading employers in 15 countries in Europe . The estimation was made by Top Employers Institute.

Victoria Shevchuk, Vice President Human Resources EU and PMI Labour Relations, told that rhe recognition of Philip Morris International as Top Employer proves the fact that it is very important to keep to highest standards in the company and its affiliates in the EU and other countries of the world. She added that annualy they make necessary improvements in order to keep up with modern standards. They do promote their dynamic working environment which is very important for business.

Philip Morris International is called one of best employers along with other 27 companies. National honors received company’s teams based in France, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Greece,  Belgium, Germany,  Lithuania,  Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, and UK.

Judith Oude Sogtoen, Director of International Business Development, from Top Employers Institute, concluded that Philip Morris International together with its affiliates provide a perfect employment environment that offers broad spectrum of creative initiatives for personal and professional development of workers.

Totally for the company are working 82,000 people worldwide, and among them 15,000 are in Europe. The tobacco company offers amazing career opportunities, trainings, great reward and recognition programs. Last year around 1,800 company’s  employees worked outside their home country for an international department.
